The Land of the Dead

Objectives:

-Respond to a prompt utilizing vocab words from the Odyssey

-analyze diction to determine tone and mood in “The Land of the Dead”

-Utilize diction to retell a  story and establish tone and mood

Agenda:
-Bellwork vocab prompt:  "Six Again" reminder to use two-three vocabulary terms, highlight them in pink, and that each story must be five or more sentences

-Read and annotate the “The Land of the Dead” Highlight words that enhance the atmosphere and add feeling to the text, annotate all stanzas and complete The Land of the Dead worksheet
-The Odyssey film clips
