3. What kinds of things
are important to Aunt Alexandra, but not to Scout?
4. What does Aunt
Alexandra ask Atticus to do? Why does
Scout become upset?
3. Begin reading Ch. 14 (if there is time)
Homework for Wednesday September 2, 2015
1. Read chapter 14
2. Complete the CP or H homework
CP: Compare and contrast the relationship both Scout and Dill have with their families citing at least 2 pieces of textual evidence in ES format for each character. Write ½ page to ¾ page.
H: Jem, Scout and Dill start as innocent, carefree children who begin to lose their purity as they grow up and start to understand the real word. As you read Chapter 14, look for evidence that the children are growing up and beginning to understand the world around them. Choose two characters (Scout, Dill and/or Jem) and describe their struggles in regards to growing up citing at least 2 pieces of textual evidence. Use ES format. Write 3/4 to 1 page.
