Narrative Essay Self-Edit

Objectives:
-Self-reflect on the Narrative Essay
-Make essay revisions

Agenda:
1. Narrative essay writing time. At this point, your Narrative Essay should be completed. Make sure it includes:
-At least 4 exchanges of dialogue
-Indirect Characterization
-A distinct mood
-Sensory imagery
-At least 8-12 steps of The Hero's Journey
-2 pages minimum, 4 pages maximum
-A clear plot: setting, rising action, climax, falling action and a takeaway or life lesson learned from this
experience.

2. Self-edit with the Narrative essay self edit worksheet and then revise narrative essays. The Narrative essay self edit worksheet is due at the end of class TODAY
