Agenda:
-Finish filling out Conflict Paraphrase Essay Prep  and CP Lit Circle Timed Writing Prompt.  ,
H Lit Circle Timed Writing Prompt,  CP: evidence collector/ , Honors Evidence Collector. TURN IN ALL THESE ITEMS TODAY at the end of class. I plan on grading this tonight, I will hand them back to you tomorrow to use as notes on your Timed Writing.

-Turn in Literature Circle books to the library

-Turn in Appointment Clocks for extra credit

-Bring the following items tomorrow:
-3-6 pages of lined paper
-Pencil or blue or black ink pen only
-Earbuds (if you are planning on listening to music while writing)

Finish typing Narrative Essays & Self-Edit Narrative Essays

Objectives:
-Finish typing Narrative Essays
-Self-edit Narrative Essays
-Practice Paraphrasing

Agenda:
  1. Complete the front side of the Paraphrase Practice Part II worksheet only. We will complete the backside this Friday, hang onto this worksheet. Have Ms. Morrison initial the front side when you're finished. 15-minute activity.


  1.  Grab your Chromebook and spend 45 minutes to finish typing your entire Narrative essay.
  2. Self-edit your essay with the packet containing the following: Edit narratives with a focus on dialogue, Edit narratives for a clear mood, Edit narratives with focus on imagery.  Turn this packet into the inbox before leaving class today.


Reminder:  Tomorrow will be the peer edit and Wednesday the final draft is due.  The final draft does not need to be printed out, but it needs to be uploaded onto turnitin.com

Homework: Read for Lit Circle #3  and complete the College Prep Lit Circle 3 Conflict worksheet  OR the Honors Conflict, due tomorrow.

Begin typing Narrative Essays on Google Classroom

Objectives:
-Construct an original narrative, focusing on The Ordinary World


Agenda:
 -Log in to Google classroom to complete TWO activities today, the first one is entitled, Ordinary World F19, students must turn this one in today, and the second activity is entitled Narrative Essay.  Students should have at least 1-2 pages typed for that second assignment, the second assignment does NOT need to be turned in today.

-If students want to know:  We will continue typing the essay after tomorrow's literature circle and during class on Monday. The entire essay needs to be completely typed by the end of class on Monday 12/9/19.
