Odysseus and Penelope & Honors Motif test

Agenda:
* All students: Open your Google classroom and select the assignment entitled “Show-not-Tell III.  Click on the link Bellwork Vocab story:  "Skipping Rocks" to complete your vocabulary story for today.  Remember to use 2-3 vocab terms and to highlight them in pink.  Each story must be 5 sentences minimum. The vocabulary test is on Thursday 11/21/19.  You have 15 minutes to complete this activity.

* Honors students: Please move to the RIGHT side of the classroom with your Chromebooks, bring out the Golden prompt sheet that we filled out together yesterday and to access the assignment on Google Classroom entitled “Honors Motif Test”.  You should NOT have your books out. This is a closed book exam. Students are allowed to use their Motif entries and that golden worksheet only. Students are allowed to listen to music while taking the test provided they have earbuds. Please turn in your Golden worksheet to the class inbox before you leave today.

* College Prep: students put away Chromebooks and move to the LEFT side of the classroom and read “Odysseus and Penelope”.  Annotate each stanza by providing a one-sentence summary next to each stanza in your The Odyssey Packet Part II.  When you are finished reading and annotating the story, get Ms. Morrison’s signature on the front cover (Ms. Morrison, see the item below, please put your initials next to  “Odysseus and Penelope”. In the appropriate column. Honors students, you don’t need to worry about a stamp for Odysseus and Penelope, I will collect your packet on Friday before the Final Exam.
