Monday

Objectives:
-create a mini-dialogue that demonstrates understanding of the elements of dialogue and incorporates “show not tell writing”
--Define a new vocabulary word, and develop an example, non-example, draw a picture and develop a showing sentence using the vocabulary word.

Agenda:
Bellwork Vocab: detain
Essay Organizer
Introduce dialogue and dialogue practice via google docs


HW:
Finish filling out the Essay Organizer with ONE childhood memory (this might be your possible narrative essay topic)
Honors: First DJ entry due tomorrow via Google classroom. I will be checking these during block 1 tomorrow.
